This contract has also exposed me to Outsourcing deals; a transaction where I extract snail slime from various farmers snail for their immediate use or supplying the slime to foreign and local Pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. Remarkably, this franchise has introduce me to Archachatina fulica; a Nigerian snail specie that contains the needed slime ingredient; valued at about $75 per a litre; a fertile soil for investment. Although starting, documenting and concluding a franchise deals has some bottlenecks like Language barrier; when it involve two different language speaking countries, Sourcing foreign currency and paying for Royalty fees and commissions the advent of modern translators, payment gate ways has neutralized this bottlenecks. Sealing a franchise deal may involve Sharing confidential information with franchisees which is risky if they are not fully committed to the business but this is usually addressed in the franchise document.
Usually a franchise agreement where both the Franchisor and Franchisee gives input to the document addresses both parties concern, reducing the disadvantages to an acceptable point if any. Though upfront investment in franchise; time and money can be huge but as a witness it is a million dollar opportunity if selected properly.
